When everything inspires me, I have a desire to write everything. Unfortunately, that means I'm getting nothing accomplished because working on five different stories at a time leads to me burning out for a week or two.
That being said, I've narrowed it down to three books: Thieves and Chameleons, the sequel to Chameleon in the Dark, the first book in a fantasy series I'm working on involving faeries, and a stand-alone fantasy book called Blood + Wine about vampires, werewolves, witches, and faeries. The first two I won't be publishing anywhere, but Blood + Wine is a "play" book for me, so it'll be free to read on Wattpad.com My profile can be found here. On my Wattpad, I have a few finished books, once I recently wrote. The others I wrote years ago, and I plan on taking them down to edit them and make them less gimmicky and more.. adult-ish later this year. I hope you enjoy!

Okay, guys, so it's been about two weeks since the release of my book, Chameleon in the Dark! I decided to take these two weeks off because the past seven months have been writing, editing, and crying. Now that I'm back, refreshed and semi-well slept, I'm ready to give you guys some updates.
But, first, thank you so much to everyone that purchased a copy and read it, left it reviews, or even reposted/retweeted the book. I've made my first $100 USD, so I'm pretty excited about that. Again, thanks, y'all. First update: The physical copy is available for purchase on Amazon for $17.99. It's 696 pages long, which seems insane to think that many words came from my fingers. Click here for the link. Second update: I start the process for the second book, Thieves and Chameleons, today. I'm actually really excited to write the second book because I have so many ideas, and so many characters to introduce y'all to. That being said, I'll start posting weekly updates. Also, if you have questions or comments, feel free to leave them under the Contact Me section! Thanks again, I appreciate y'all so much. Guys, I am so excited to finally announce the release of my book, Chameleon in the Dark. I started writing it in March, and, now as a Christmas gift to myself, it's finally finished, editing, and published.
*Round of applause because my procrastination, laziness, and fear of failure did not stop me* Links Below: Kindle Books Apple Books: For the past month, I have been working my tail off to finish writing a book for y'all, but, in light of the Black Lives Matter movement and the protests, I don't feel comfortable promoting or releasing it. There are more important things to focus on.
That being said, I have no idea when I will be able to start promoting it on social media, but, at the moment, I am looking at a June 17th release date on Kindle/Apple Books. Its a sci-fi book with a diverse range of characters and a black main character. I will give you two things right now, title and a blurb. Title: Chameleon in the Dark Blurb: It was supposed to be a fun, two weeks at sea with her best friend. But when a storm lands them onto what was supposed to be an abandoned island, they realize that the world is far more sinister than they thought. If you're reading this, welcome to my website.
I am a budding author who often writes more books than can possibly be published by one person. Writing is my passion, my true love. With writing, I can go places and see people that may otherwise be unavailable to me. When I share my work with you, I invite you to those places. I invite you to experience worlds created in my head, to have conversations with people that don't exist. I invite you to laugh. To cry. To experience secondhand embarrassment. To love. To stan. I invite you to keep these words forever. Take the parts of my books that change you and hold them forever. Let the others go for someone else. But most of all, enjoy. Thank you for giving me a moment or two of your day. |
